Unless you are pretty geeky, I'd say don't bother.

That said, picture is great, netflix streaming is fun. The you-tube is fine, however, as someone else mentioned, don't have the kids in the room when you navigate, as you'll pass through some "most viewed" (or something) that can be racy, even just to get to your own favorites.

The wireless does seem to drop out mid-netflix movie, maybe once every other time I use it, and does not easily pick back up again. Usually a 3-5 min break for us as I fiddle and get the connection back. Often the quickest way is to turn it off and on again.

There have been several automatic updates since I got the player, and it does seem like they are making headway: additional video formats supported, some bugs corrected.
